CSKHF also believes in improving patient awareness. Patient awareness leaflets, information sheets and other things about cancer and cancer care have been printed and circulated in order to raise awareness.
Research
As a part of the endeavour to augment medical education and research, CSKHF has been open to supporting medical research by approving grants. The research supported by CSKHF (regarding the use of musical instruments in sleep therapy) was presented by the researcher and has won awards in competitions across the state.
Community Support
CSKHF has been supporting the community and the city of Chennai during the time of the COVID-19 crisis. The trust has donated over 5 lakh worth of equipment related to COVID-19 healthcare to various hospitals all over the city. It also provides maternity care to infected mothers of newborn children.
